[ it'd be far too dramatic to say something like 'he saved me', even if it's the closest to the truth as you can get. ]
He defeated the Alvida pirates very soon after, and in short order. It was amazing to watch.
I was a chore boy aboard their ship, you see. Finding him that day changed my life. I'm not ashamed to say as much.
